Chatime

               Guess what is the next place? It’s CHATIME! Jia Voon and YiLing are in charge of this place.  Chatime is the combination of a Chinese word for tea (cha) and an English word time. Chatime originates from Taiwan, these drinks have a significantly milkier taste than the rest. It has become one of the biggest international bubble tea brand and the most notable public beverage provider in the Taiwan stock market.

               There are 75 kinds of drinks in Chatime. They have a wide range of drink selections like Mellow Milk Tea, Smoothies, Coffee, Oriental Teas, QQ Jelly drinks, special mixes, Fresh Tea, Juices and Mousses. Besides cold drinks, they also have hot drinks. Milk tea is not in a pitcher in the fridge waiting to be poured. Each drink is made through ordering, measuring and the hand shaken. We can even add toppings such as pearls, grass jelly, red bean aloe vera and rainbow jelly. Their pearls are perfect. There is no hard centre and it is soft all the way through.

                The Roasted Milk Tea is highly recommended. The perfect balance of creamy milk tea with extra roasted-flavour that makes it different from the other milk teas. Taro milk tea is also another drink that recommended. It has an acquired taste and fresh. Red bean milk tea is also mighty delicious. According to my friend, he comments that Strawberry Yogurt is refreshing. I took an order of it but I found it sour and it is not my taste. As for a sweet tooth like me, I will recommend QQ milk tea.

                The environment here is a great place to hang out and revise.  I would probably come here to hang out with my old friends old just to revise like many people do in Starbucks.  Speaking of revising, Chatime provides extension cords for those who want to bring their laptop.  If we need the Wi-Fi connection, we can just ask from the counter.

                Next, let’s talk about the service.  Most of the time we go, it takes forever for us to get our order.  However, this does not mean that they have poor services.  This place is so popular and having too many customer that cause them to have slow service.  I guess this is a kind of good sign, but I think that they should increase their number of workers.  While we were having our drinks, we saw someone accidentally spilt his drink.  A worker cleans it up immediately.  I think that it is quite good and efficient.

                Their default order is the large size, it is 1 ringgit extra compared to the regular size.  Some people might think that the price is quite expensive, but for a good quality drink, it is a decent price.  We can also register a member card to accumulate points.  When our points have reach to a hundred, we will get a free drink.

                A romantic mood is build by the dim light and great settings.  This enhanced our doing experience.  We really enjoy drinking and chatting in this beautiful place.
