Uncle Jang Korean Restaurant

The first place that we went was Uncle Jang Korean Restaurant . Uncle Jang Korean Restaurant is located in Bandar Puteri Puchong .It also has two other branches in Ampang and Mont Kiara Solaris . This korean restaurant runs by pure korean and the food  is authentic root of Korea culture . Shin Yee , Nanthynee and Jia Voon decided to go there for lunch .

Uncle Jang Korean Restaurant  is at the first floor . There is a lift provided for the elderly to use . We went up by stairs . Once we went in , the waiter was very polite to say " annyeonghaseyo"  to us with a big wide smile .  Annyeonghaseyo means hello in Korean language .The waiter guided us and gave us menu . We feel so surprise when the waiter gave us red aprons for us . There was only a few customers in the restaurant because they just operated their business . Many people usually go there for dinner .

Each table in the restaurant has a big frying pan for the waiter to fry in front of the customer . I feel this is one of the special feature in this restaurant . We order two sets of normal Dak Galbi because each set of Dak Galbi is minimum for 2 person only . Each set of Dak Galbi costs RM19 .  Besides , we also order one set of ramen sari and udon sari . Ramen sari costs RM 6 and udon sari costs RM8 . We realized that the waiter used a different way  to take our order .

The waiter wrote one in this way , “一” . The word two is similar with alphabet "T" .

We did not order any drinks because the restaurant will provided us a bottle of cold water for free . If we finished drinking , they will help us to refill it . After waited for five minutes , the waiter served us with Dak Galbi and started to cook in front of us . Dak Galbi is one of the Korean food with contain chicken , Korea rice cake, cabbage and sweet potato . The tasty smell make us feel like want to eat immediately . The waiter finally served us with ramen sari and udon sari after waiting for five minutes . The waiter fried the Dak Galbi with ramen and udon  . The waiter also served us with lettuce , kimchi and some of the Korean side dishes .

We started to enjoy our food when the waiter notified us to eat . We put the ingredients on the lettuce, wrap it together and put into our mouth ! So YUMMY !!!!!!! Shin Yee decided to eat with her hands instead of chopsticks because the ingredients keep dropping when she used with chopsticks . Jia Voon do not like the lettuce , hence she just eat the ingredients without the lettuce . Once we finished eating the lettuce or kimchi , the waiter will help us to refill it .Nanthynee and Jia Voon did not like the taste of kimchi but Shin Yee like it .

The design of the restaurant is simple but you can also feels the Korea's culture easily  . The walls are full of customer's photo and some of the Korean artist , such as Wonder Girls and Girl Generations . There is also a corner where the customer wrote their comments about the restaurants . Besides , there is a small corner beside the counter where sell those Korean junk food and socks which printed Korean artist .Nanthynee bought a pair of socks for her friend . They also play Korean song in the restaurant . This make us so hyper when we listen our favourite Korean songs .

After we finished eating , the waiter serves us with watermelons as dessert . We ate and chat happily for one and half hour . We just spent RM 52 for the food . We were surprised that no government tax and service tax were charged ! They also gave a card for us , so that once we come , we will get a sticker on that card . After getting 15 stickers , we can get one set of Dak Galbi for free .

Nanthynee and Shin Yee would like to come again to enjoy the food . But , Jia Voon will not because she did not like Korean food that much . However , we still enjoy it very much .
